We’re here to cover the interesting side of sexual and reproductive health. Even though sex acts are identical at the basic level wherever you are in the world, the thousands of steps leading up to them (and resulting from them) vary greatly. That’s what we’re here to cover. The main writer and founder of the site is a DC-based scribe who has a masters in public health and works as a writer for several national publications that you have probably heard of.
Stance on controversial issues (let’s get this out of the way, shall we…):
Where do you stand on pornography?
Is it safe? Is everyone involved a consenting adult? Are they all compensated equitably? If you answered yes to ALL of these questions then, sure, we’re all for it. But if you came here looking for porn then this site will be a disappointment. In the words of Black Label Society you won’t find that here. As much as we support its (safe) existence, and might occasionally do a post about news that relates to porn, you won’t find any actual pornography here.
Abortion?
Firmly pro-choice.
Women who get pregnant unintentionally but decide to carry out the pregnancy?
100% supportive.
Gay marriage?
All for it.
What about the transgender; questioning; abstinent; polygamous; people who give or receive money for sex; role playing sex club attendees; nudists; mile high club members; et cetera, et cetera?
Sure. Embrace your identity and we’ll hug you right back.
So, where’s the place on the site where I vent about my personal politics and pass judgement on others who choose a lifestyle different from mine?
Sorry, folks. Move along, move along.
